In July 2025, Irene Sarmiento was one of 11 international author’s invited to participate in the 8th White Ravens Book Festival in Munich. Over five days, authors from eight countries travelled to schools, libraries, bookshops and even a juvenile detention center to read from their books for children and young people, lead workshops and talk about their work and experiences in panel discussions.
Irene presented her latest novel Stray Cats from Ateneo de Manila University Press.
